Grand Theft Auto VI may have the most interesting car lineup Rockstar has ever built. There is a Testarossa-shaped Cheetah parked under Vice City neon, a 1967 Mustang lifted onto off-road tires, a car-pickup straight out of 1970, Florida donks on gold wheels the size of dining tables, a 1950s land yacht, and enough modified street cars to make the whole state look like a permanent Friday night meet.
Rockstar has not published the full vehicle list, so some names below come straight from the company and others are identifications people made from the footage. We keep that difference visible on every car. But first, the cars.
1. ’95 Grotti Cheetah, the Testarossa that runs Vice City
Name printed by Rockstar[2]
Rockstar could have opened the garage with another anonymous thousand-horsepower hypercar. Instead it picked the shape every kid who grew up around Testarossa posters recognises instantly: wide, low, ridiculous, and completely at home under neon.

The engineering behind that silhouette is simple enough. Put the engine behind the seats and the cabin has to move forward, the tail gets wide and flat, and the flanks fill with intakes because the radiators went to the back with everything else. Every wedge exotic of the era looks related because they were all solving the same packaging problem.
Rockstar dated it 1995 on purpose. This is not a car from the future. It is the car from the poster.

2. ’67 Vapid Dominator Buggy, a Mustang that went to Baja
Name printed by Rockstar[2]
It looks like somebody bought a 1967 Mustang, ignored every collector begging them not to touch it, cut the arches out, bolted on knobby tires and decided that reaching the swamp mattered more than resale value.

In the real world that stance means serious suspension, clearance and geometry work, and a car that will never go back to standard. In the game it means Rockstar is advertising the modifying, not the model.

3. Ganado Retro Build, the car-pickup nobody builds any more
Name printed by Rockstar[2]
Jason Duval’s car is not a truck. It is a coupe with the roof cut off behind the seats and a bed dropped in where the trunk used to be: same floor, same suspension, same doors, same driving position, plus somewhere to put a fridge.

Detroit built these for thirty years and then quietly stopped. Putting one in the protagonist’s driveway instead of another Lamborghini is the single most confident choice in the whole lineup.
4. ’55 Vapid Stanier, the land yacht that steals the scene
Name printed by Rockstar[2]
The funniest thing about Rockstar’s official lineup may be that it put a 1955 sedan next to a Ferrari-shaped supercar and somehow made the old boat just as desirable. Chrome down both sides, whitewalls, a bench seat, and a roofline built when nobody had heard the word aerodynamics.

And then there is the detail that gives the whole game away. The yellow-and-white car in the screenshots is not generic 1950s Americana. Databases trace it to a specific real 1955 Oldsmobile 88 that sits on Ocean Drive in Miami Beach, in those exact colours, outside a hotel.[5]
Somebody on that team stood on Ocean Drive, looked at a parked car, and put it in the game in the right colours.

5. Schyster Deviant, the one wearing its name on the paint
Badge readable in Rockstar press assets[3]
Rockstar never listed this car anywhere. It just left the name written in script on the rear quarter of a stars-and-stripes coupe and published the photo in 4K.

Long hood, stubby deck, hips flared over the rear wheels: American performance cars looked like that because a big engine sat up front driving the back wheels, and once you commit to that layout the rest of the car has nowhere else to go. Databases place the Deviant in the Classic Car Collection that a character called Wyman hands out.[5]
6. The Albany donk might be the most Vice City car in GTA 6
Marque readable in Rockstar press assets, model never named[3]
Every GTA has had a Ferrari analogue. Not every GTA has had this.
A 1970s American two-door, candy paint, sitting on gold wheels tall enough to change the entire geometry of the car, photographed inside a shop Rockstar named and is selling you. Donks are South Florida in a way no supercar can be, and their presence says more about where this game is set than any skyline shot.

People who have never stood next to one think it is a joke. It is not. Lifting a sedan onto wheels twice the diameter it was designed for drags in the suspension, the clearance, the brakes and the steering geometry, and the good ones cost more than the supercar parked next to them.

7. Sentinel convertible, the E30 that never leaves
Identified from footage, not confirmed by Rockstar[4]
Roof down, shark nose, that squared-off boot: the Sentinel has been GTA’s BMW for years, and in a game set on the Florida coast an E30 convertible is exactly the right piece of casting.

8. Schafter, the executive saloon in the background of everything
Identified from footage, not confirmed by Rockstar[4]
Nobody puts the Schafter on a poster. It is the car parked outside the lawyer’s office in every GTA since 2008, and it is a Mercedes E-Class in all but the badge.

9. The street racer nobody can name yet
Identified from footage, no in-game name[4]
In one of the street racing sequences there is a coupe with a Skyline GT-R silhouette running neon underglow, and elsewhere something M4-shaped racing Challengers and Chargers on an actual circuit.[4] Until somebody sees a name, that is all we have. But if GTA VI has a real import scene rather than a body kit menu, that first car is where it lives.
Rockstar also officially named the Shitzu Squalo. Unless somebody finds wheels for it, we are leaving the boat out of a car list.
This might be the best car game Rockstar has made
Not because of any single vehicle. Because of what surrounds them.
Rockstar is selling two separate modification shops, Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie’s, a Classic Car Collection, and a garage bundled with the Stanier.[2] Nobody puts two body shops in a pre-order pitch for a game where you only drive.

Then there is the 26 minutes of gameplay Rockstar published on August 27, captured in-game on a PlayStation 5.[6] Writers went through it frame by frame and came back with track racing, street racing, tuner coupes on underglow and dirt bikes in the wetlands.[4]
Los Santos was Los Angeles, and Los Angeles gave GTA V lowriders, tuners, supercars and off-roaders. Good, but one scene with variations. South Florida is several scenes that barely speak to each other: donks and high-risers, Caribbean and Latin American imports, retirees who have owned the same immaculate sedan since 1988, swamp trucks an hour inland, boats everywhere.

Why every “confirmed” GTA 6 car list disagrees with the next one
Rockstar has printed exactly five vehicle names.[2] One community database catalogues 272, pulled from trailers, screenshots and the Extended Look, and it is genuinely useful.[5] What it is not is 272 names Rockstar has confirmed.
The damage happens downstream. A car appears for a moment. Somebody identifies it. Somebody else borrows the identification and calls it confirmed. A third person adds a real-world equivalent. By the fourth article none of it is marked as a guess.
So we used one question on every car above. Did Rockstar print the name, did Rockstar let the badge show, or did somebody read it off a screen?
What changes on November 19
Grand Theft Auto VI arrives on November 19, 2026.[1] Every provisional call here can be checked that day, and a layer arrives that no trailer can carry: what the cars are classed as, how they drive, and how far those two body shops will actually let you go.
We will update this page when it does, and the labels stay. A name Rockstar printed and a name somebody guessed are still two different things after launch.
